IPSC Shot Timer — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 May 2026

This privacy policy explains how the IPSC Shot Timer mobile application ("the app", "we") handles information. The app is published by EX Corporation Oy ("the developer").

Summary

IPSC Shot Timer does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All processing happens on your device.

Microphone access

The app requests microphone access to detect the sound of shots so it can record split times. Audio is analysed in real time on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. No audio leaves your device.

Data we collect

None. The app does not collect personally identifiable information, contact details, location, identifiers for advertising, analytics, or any other data about you or your usage.

Data stored on your device

The app stores your settings (such as par-time presets and sensitivity preferences) locally on your device using iOS standard preferences. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Network connections

The app does not make network calls to servers operated by the developer. Standard iOS system connections (such as those used by Apple for app updates and crash reporting) are governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Third parties

The app uses the open-source Flutter framework and standard Apple iOS libraries. It does not embed third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Children

The app is a sport-shooting timer intended for adult users. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects how the app handles information, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users in the app's release notes.
